Who We Are

Andrew Elison

Andrew Elison was born and raised in Eastern Idaho, just outside of the Blackfoot area. He attended Utah State and received a two-year degree in Dairy Science, and he lives on a small farm between Middleton and Emmett, Idaho, which allows him to still play with horses and raise cattle.

For the past 32 years, Andrew has been serving the people in this area of Idaho by helping them reach their financial dreams and desires. He began working in the insurance industry in 1990, but soon felt a desire to expand upon the financial services that he could offer to his clients. He and two partners opened their own financial advisory in 1991.

Andrew obtained his Series 6 and 63 licenses in 1997. He bought out his partners to open Elison Financial Group in 2010. When he obtained his Series 65 license in 2018, he had effectively transformed his business into a one-stop shop for all of his customers’ financial needs. Elison Financial Group now offers its clients financial retirement planning, as well as all aspects of money and asset management.

“These days, I feel it’s very important for me to be able to help people in all possible ways,” said Andrew. “It’s difficult to even think about retiring with all the economic challenges we face, but there are some great tools and opportunities that make it possible for people to still achieve their financial dreams. Helping people navigate those opportunities is what gives me the greatest satisfaction in my work.”

Andrew and his wife Melodi have been married for 39 years, and have six children and ten grandchildren. They love spending time with family, and find caring for their animals and farm to be a source of great joy. Andrew is actively involved in serving adults and youths at his church. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, golfing and taking people on wagon rides with his two draft horses.

Seth Elison

Seth Elison was raised in the Treasure Valley of Idaho, just outside of Boise. He obtained his insurance license and joined Elison Financial Group in 2013.

Seth enjoys helping people figure out a road map that can show them in black and white how to achieve their dreams. “I love the planning part of the process,” he said, “because you can give people the peace of mind to know their retirement is explained and charted out for them to see. I love arriving at those moments with people when we see that their goals are within reach.”

Seth obtained his Series 65 license in 2021 in order to more completely serve all the money management needs of the individuals he helps. He also works with Elison Financial’s estate planner when clients want services regarding trusts, wills, or power of attorney.

Seth and his wife Simone married in 2008 and have four children. They enjoy riding horses and caring for their 25-acre hobby farm. At their church, Seth stays active in working with 13- and 14-year-old boys. He also enjoys fishing and camping, and still plays basketball every week.
